Google Cuts Price on Search Hardware Licenses

Did you ever wish you had a search function on your site? Google recently launched a stream-lined, low cost version of it’s more robust search product for licensing to small businesses. The product, launched in January 2005, cost $5,000. Google today announced a cut in the prices of all their search licenses, and dropped the cost of the small business license, known as “Google-mini”, to $3,000. If your site is big enough to need a search function, it seems almost a no-brainer to look at this new package now that the price is so cheap.
